Osmium has been tradable since 2014. It is available in the form of jewelry or as an investment metal. Its crystalline luster and properties have made it an unprecedented winner.
OSMIUM
The rarest precious metal in the world offers a unique opportunity!
Facts
chemical elemet Os, atomic number 76, 8 and last precious metal
is the rarest and densest precious metal
has an unfalsifiable crystal structure
has the highest value density of all elements
and is therefore the perfect investment metal for investors
Osmium is a hard, brittle, steel-blue transition metal and belongs to the platinum group of metals. Osmium is mined together with platinum. There are only 30 grams of osmium in 10,000 tons of platinum ore.
Separating the metals is complex, time-consuming and cost-intensive. When platinum production declines, osmium will no longer be mined, which increases the rarity value enormously.
Right now, as of 2019, about 1,000 kg of osmium is mined worldwide per year.
Risks
Osmium is an asset, similar to all other precious metals, and is therefore subject to price fluctuations
Osmium does not offer a return through interest
Osmium is still considered toxic by many (crude osmium is, crystalline osmium is not)
Currently still illiquid market
Opportunities
Excellent diversification for precious metal portfolios
Hedge against inflation
Unforgeable due to crystal structure (each piece of osmium is certified by an OIC code)
High expected increase in value
